#CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba

The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) has officially commissioned the newly constructed Ruhengyere Army Primary School in Kiruhura District. Funded under the guidance of CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and managed by the Special Forces Command, the modern campus transforms a school that started under tree shades into a robust educational facility serving both military families and local civilian communities.

During his time in Addis Ababa, Brig. Gen. Zakye actively advanced this relationship, notably hosting Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba on two high-profile working visits, alongside several other military delegations.

UPDF leaders commissioned a new classroom block at Rubongi Army Secondary School and pledged continued support to improve education for both soldiers' children and surrounding communities.

The NRM Parliamentary Caucus has endorsed Hon. Jacob Oboth-Oboth for Speaker and Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa for Deputy Speaker at State House Entebbe. President Museveni urged the legislators to reject identity politics and focus on wealth creation ahead of today's election in Kololo.

The UPDF Marine Brigade and MAAIF have deployed 56 newly trained officers to combat illegal fishing after a three-month law enforcement course in Kalangalo. The deployment seeks to revive Uganda's fish stocks and rescue the country's collapsing fish processing factories.

President Yoweri Museveni praised Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for fighting corruption in the UPDF and strengthening the army.
